(openPR) – Placencia, Belize – Kanantik Reef and Jungle Resort in Belize (kanantik.com) is pleased to announce that the back to back hurricanes of Dean and Felix will cause no disruptions to the upcoming peak tourist season. Roberto Fabbri, managing director and owner of Kanantik Reef and Jungle Resort suggested that once again the country of Belize was spared more serious damage from Hurricanes Dean and Felix because of the natural defenses that Belize has, namely its coastal mangroves and great barrier reef.

“Outside of the typical debris cleanup that is experienced from any large tropical storm, the integrity of Kanantik Reef and Jungle Resort came through unscathed and the 2007 fall tourist season will proceed the same it does every year,” said Roberto Fabbri.

After dodging some record-setting storms, coastal resorts and businesses throughout the Central American country of Belize continue to hope for the best.

Two powerful hurricanes made history as the first Category 5 Atlantic storms to make landfall in the same season. First, Dean raced ashore in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula to the north of Belize in late August. Almost exactly two weeks later, Felix arrived to the south along Nicaragua’s Miskito Coast. Remarkably, both largely spared Belize’s rapidly growing tourism industry.

Hurricane experts emphasize that early warnings and preparations are key for minimizing damages and casualties from any hurricane, but south-central Belize in particular seems to have escaped the wrath of hurricanes better than other prime vacation destinations.

Dean brought heavy rains, moderate waves and minor flooding to the Belize coast and the government reported power outages, downed trees and damaged roofs in the northernmost Corozal District. Likewise, Felix brought local flooding to the extreme south. Even so, the rest of the Central American nation reported little or no damage and tourist hotspots quickly reopened.

“We are grateful that Belize was relatively unscathed by Hurricane Dean,” Director of Tourism Tracy Panton said in a statement on an emergency information Web site run by the Belize Tourism Board (belizeemergency.net). “With no major damages, most of the country’s hotels and attractions are welcoming guests merely one day after the hurricane passed.”

Roberto Fabbri, of Kanantik Reef & Jungle Resort in southern Belize’s Stann Creek District, said his resort felt no major impacts from either hurricane and has fared well in other recent storms. Fabbri remembers cleaning up downed trees and power lines after Hurricane Iris roared ashore in 2001, but even then the new eco-resort’s buildings suffered little damage. “We have been extremely lucky because Iris destroyed a banana plantation just 2 miles from us,” Fabbri said of Iris’s impact.

Since Hurricane Hattie in 1961, though, the whole country and especially its southern coast have fared unexpectedly well. Like that famous real estate adage, a big reason why may be relatively simple: location, location, location. Atlantic storms tracked by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Hurricane Center reveal that since record-keeping began, the majority of tropical storms and hurricanes have veered well to the north.

Southern Belize’s miles of undeveloped mangrove wetlands and shoreline also can limit a storm’s power by absorbing the impact of high winds and waves. That buffering power may be one reason why the Belizean resort of Kanantik and its surrounding 300 acres of undisturbed land weren’t damaged as much as other neighboring properties after Iris in 2001.

According to the Belize Hurricane Net (ambergriscaye.com/hurricane), the Western Hemisphere’s longest barrier reef is yet another factor, making it far more than an underwater wonderland and world-class diving destination. “Our reef saves us from utter devastation in big storms and, unlike practically any artificial arrangement, it isn’t going to be undercut and washed away,” writes the site’s administrator. “Most of the wave force slams into it and goes straight up in the air. Sixty feet or more sometimes.”

High tides can breech that barrier, but hurricane records confirm that direct hits on Belize and their associated storm surges have been a relative rarity in recent years. In fact, the entire Caribbean nation has seen only five hits within the past 40 years – making it the envy of most other countries in the Caribbean, not to mention much of the southeastern United States.

Meanwhile the residents and resort owners of Belize watch and hope that their natural treasures as well as protectors, the barrier reef and miles of mangrove wetlands continue to temper the powerful forces of any hurricane that might find the country of Belize in its path.

You probably don’t know it, but the answer to World’s gasoline addiction could be under the hood of your car. More than five million Tauruses, Explorers, Stratuses, Suburbans, and other vehicles are already equipped with engines that can run on an energy source that costs less than gasoline, produces almost none of the emissions that cause global warming.

Filling up on ethanol isn’t new. Henry Ford’s Model T ran on it. What’s changing is the cost of distilling ethanol and the advantages it brings over rival fuels. Energy visionaries like to dream about hydrogen as the ultimate replacement for fossil fuels, but switching to it would mean a trillion-dollar upheaval–for new production and distribution systems, new fuel stations, and new cars. Not so with ethanol–today’s gas stations can handle the most common mixture of E85, with minimal retrofitting. It takes about 20% more ethanol than gasoline to drive a mile. Ethanol has already transformed one major economy: In Brazil nearly 50% of new cars can burn either ethanol or gasoline, whichever happens to be cheaper at the pump, and the nation has weaned itself off imported oil.

And have you heard about AutoFFV? Abcesso Technology has launched for the first time outside Brazil their latest Flex Fuel converter system for most injection vehicles. When installed it makes the normal gasoline car behave and perform as a Flex Fuel Vehicle. The system is totally AUTOMATIC, there is no fuel selection switch, and the management system recognizes the “lambda probe” signal and automatically adjusts to whichever fuel is being used in any proportion.

What is E85?

E85 is the term for motor fuel blends of 85 percent ethanol and just 15 percent gasoline. E85 is an alternative fuel as defined by the U.S. Department of Energy. Besides its superior performance characteristics, ethanol burns cleaner than gasoline; it is a completely renewable, domestic, environmentally friendly fuel that enhances the nation’s economy and energy independence.

Today, the U. S. imports more than half of its oil and overall consumption continues to increase. By supporting ethanol production and use, U.S. drivers can help reverse that trend. 85% ethanol can reduce pollution. Government tests have shown that E85 vehicles reduce harmful hydrocarbon and benzene emissions when compared to vehicles running on gasoline. E85 can also reduce carbon dioxide (CO2), a harmful greenhouse gas and a major contributor to global warming.

Although CO2 is released during ethanol production and combustion, it is recaptured as a nutrient to the crops that are used in its production. Unlike fossil fuel combustion, which unlocks carbon that has been stored for millions of years, use of ethanol results in low increases to the carbon cycle.

Ethanol also degrades quickly in water and, therefore, poses much less risk to the environment than an oil or gasoline spill.

When you’re buying a used car, you’re faced with a lot of decisions. You may not get what you pay for, and it’s important to ensure that a car is in proper working order before you purchase it. In this article, we’ll discuss some of the things that you should consider before you go ahead with a purchase of a used vehicle.

- Once you know the type of car that you are considering purchasing, check out what it’s worth is with Kelley Blue Book. It is located online at http://www.kbb.org and it provides a basic idea of what any make and model of car is worth when it comes to purchasing new or used. Once you’ve got a basic idea of what the car’s value is, it’s important to properly inspect the vehicle you’re considering.

- Consider the other costs associated with purchasing the car. If it’s a sportscar, you may find yourself paying a premium when it comes to insurance. Check out how much it would cost to finance and insure the vehicle before jumping in to a purchasing decision.

- When it comes to inspecting the vehicle, you may want to purchased a used car history report. Available from such sites as www.carfax.com, these reports list in detail any work that has been done on the car. That can mean the difference when it comes to buying a new car, since any problems should be apparent through the report.

- When you are test driving the car, you should subject it to various tests. Be sure to check the brakes in both low and high-intensity braking situations, to ensure that they will hold up if an accident were to occur. Also, you should note how the car steers and the alignment. Check the undercarriage of the vehicle, as well as the engine and the body for any amount of rust. Be sure that the levels of fluids in the car are up to par, and check the engine for any troublesome smoke or odors after you test drive the car.

- If you decide that the car that you’re considering is right for you, you may want to take it into a mechanic for a basic inspection. They can diagnose any problems that the vehicle may have that are not altogether obvious, which can save you a lot of money in the long run.

        By: Jonathon Hardcastle

In 1990, General Motors capitalized on consumer’s intense dislike of the auto purchasing process and introduced the Saturn. Saturns were, and are still, sold at a flat price with no dickering, dealing or haggling. Today, almost 25% of car buyers purchase vehicles from flat price, or no-haggle, dealerships. But are they truly saving money?

At no-haggle dealerships, cars are priced at a flat rate that typically includes a standard options package and a built in profit for the dealer. Additional options may be sold in flat-rate packages or a la carte. At regular dealerships, cars are displayed with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price but everything including options, warranty, financing and dealer profit is negotiable.

Research has shown that educated consumers pay much less for cars at regular dealerships than at no-haggle dealerships. This is because regular dealers set average profit goals over time. For example, if they sell five cars, the average profit per car should be a certain amount, say $1,000. That means of those five cars, three could sell for $1000 profit, but the dealer could make $2000 and $0 profit on the remaining two cars and still hit their goal. At a no-haggle dealership, the profit goal is fixed per car, meaning that while you will not pay $1000 more because you have poor negotiating skills, you will also not save $1000 if you have good ones.

There are certain people who historically do benefit from purchasing cars from no-haggle dealerships. Young adults, women and minorities in particular, have historically paid higher prices than other groups at regular auto dealerships and may benefit from no-haggle pricing. In fact, reacting to the trend of more and more young people turning to no-haggle dealerships for their automobile purchases, Toyota introduced the Scion in 2003. The Scion is a small car that comes with trendy options packages and is priced and marketed directly at young people who don’t want to negotiate to purchase their car.

Therefore, if you are willing to do the research and confident in your negotiation skills, you will almost certainly save money at a regular dealership unless you want a Saturn or Scion. Then you’ll have to pay the same price as everyone else. However, if you’re timid, too busy to research or spend time making a deal, or in one of the groups that historically are offered worse deals, you may be better off at a no-haggle dealership.

Prices of gasoline are rising every day. The price per barrel has increased a whopping 60% since the year 2000. How mind-boggling is that?

Yes there may be some days when we go to the pumps and the prices are slightly down but they never seem to stay that way too long. How many of us are searching for that gas station with the cheapest gas of the day? What a waste of gas, time and money that is especially when you have to sit there and wait in a long line to purchase the fuel.

Well my friends I do not see any light at the end of the tunnel as far as the price of gas goes, and unless we all decide we are taking public transportation, bicycles or just going to walk, we have no choice. Saving on the amount of fuel you are burning in your car right now is one of the only ways you are going to save money on gasoline because the cost for fuel will increase further. There might be days of lower prices, but in general it will only go higher and higher.

There are a lot of great automobiles that will get better gas mileage then others; the thing is a lot of us just can not afford to buy one; we have to drive what we have. Is there a solution for new cars, used cars, trucks, motor-bikes, etc. to save on fuel, and therefore save money? We all have to drive and I believe as long as that is our only option fuel savings should be one of our highest priorities.

So how do we go about saving money on our fuel costs? Well you can always take a look at your driving habits. There are plenty of good articles and tips on the internet that will help you develop good driving habits. The other way to save money on fuel is to research and test some of the additives and fuel conditioners that are on the market today, however be careful, study the science of the product, make sure it’s EPA registered so you know it’s safe for your vehicle, check to make sure the product has been properly tested, and what’s the cost verses the savings. These are just a few of the factors you’ll want to consider when buying a fuel additive or conditioner. There are a lot of different products out there and deciding which one to try can be a difficult choice. Just use your common sense and don’t get fooled by unrealistic claims.

We have researched a number of different products that help save on fuel. There are some great products out there that really do work. For a report on our findings please feel free to contact us at:

Gas motor scooters are often thought of as toys, innocent and cheap fun. But it’s exactly that type of thinking that can get a gas scooter driver into deep trouble. First and foremost scooters are motor vehicles just like motorcycles and automobiles. They share the road with other cars and trucks and are subject to similar laws and regulations. And although they are an object of desire for many they can be dangerous for the unexperienced or unprepared.

As a general rule gas powered scooters are regulated by state laws as either motorcycles or mopeds and are subject to similar regulations as these other motor vehicles. By staying alert and using caution many accidents can be avoided. Most accidents arise due to carelessness. By paying attention to what is going on around you and what other drivers are doing you can feel relatively safe out on the highway.

There are two things that cause the majority of accidents, speeding and following too closely to the vehicle ahead. Driving safely is all about giving other drivers enough reaction time. If another driver wants to change into your lane directly in front of you it may cause you to lose control if you are speeding and haven’t enough time to react. Without enough time to slow down this maneuver by the other driver may require you to move into another lane to avoid him. This can affect other drivers in other lanes which is the beginning of many accidents.

Another major mistake that many gas scooter drivers make is following too closely. When the person ahead of you suddenly slams on the brakes you need enough time to slow down comfortably. Ramming into the back of someone’s car is not what you want to do, especially when you are driving a small scooter without any protection around you. By following the speed limits and giving yourself enough room to slow down if something unexpected should happen in front of you most accidents can be prevented.

The third problem arises when gas powered scooters are purchased for use by children and teenagers who do not even possess a valid driver’s license. Drivers with licenses may not be any safer on the road than unlicensed drivers, but at least they have had some training and experience behind the wheel of a car. Children and teenagers without any training can be an accident waiting to happen when it comes to motor scooters. Without any experience or training children and young teenagers can quickly find themselves in positions that experienced drivers normally would not.

Kids have been known to throw caution into the wind, darting in and out of traffic without a clue as to the dangers. On gas scooters that are so small they can’t be seen well by other drivers, and without much driving experience or training, kids will pose a hazard to both themselves and the other motorists they come in contact with.

Parents should be strongly cautioned to have their children receive the proper amount of training on their gas power scooters before they are allowed onto the busy city streets. Find a deserted road and put them through a training session. The life a parent saves may be his own children’s. Only after a parent feels comfortable with his child’s driving skills should they allow the child onto the busier streets. By making sure that our children know the safety rules of the road we are decreasing their chances of being involved in a serious accident. Before we can legally drive a car on the highway we must all pass certain tests. Why should it be any different for younger kids?

Gas or electric scooters are wonderful little vehicles that are fun to drive, cheap to buy and are very handy for traveling short distances around the neighborhood to perform errands. They usually have larger storage room than a motorcycle and are very inexpensive to operate. There are many reasons for owning a gas scooter, but in the hands of the untrained and inexperienced they can be deadly.

The ATV, go carts, dirt bikes and mini bikes are other vehicles that are often owned and operated by younger drivers. But they are usually not seen on the city streets as scooters are. Go karts are typically driven on tracks specifically designed for the go cart. And the mini bike, dirt bike or ATVs are typically driven off road. These other vehicles avoid many of the dangers that scooter drivers must face, namely traffic on the busy highway.

Gas scooters are quite popular these days, especially among the younger market who are too young to drive cars yet. Without proper training for these kids it opens the door to possible serious accidents. As the worldwide popularity of gas scooters grows we need to make sure that people’s awareness of driving and safety regulations keeps pace, especially among the kids that have no previous drivers experience.

Kids often think of gas scooters as toys, not as potentially dangerous vehicles. But a scooter is not a toy. It is a motor vehicle that is subject to certain laws and regulations. People need to be aware of the potential scooter dangers and remain alert while driving at all times. They should not drive erratically, but be predictable and courteous to other drivers on the road. They should follow the speed limits and remain a safe distance behind other vehicles. Kids should receive proper training before being allowed on the busier streets. By taking these few safety precautions we can help ensure a fun safe driving experience for all.

Before the 1920s it was an easy decision, a foot-powered push scooter or none at all. But once Gino Tsai from Shanghai, Taiwan developed the Razor scooter it changed everything. His motor scooters became popular so quickly there were people waiting in line for six months before they could get one.

In the 1950s companies like Vespa in the UK started selling the first of their gas motor scooters. It was a big hit at the 1950 Motorcycle Show and quickly became a big hit in the UK as well. Vespa sold over 125,000 in the UK between the years of 1950 to 1958. Piaggio from Vespa and Lambretta from Innocenti started selling their models in Italy and France too, quickly becoming the vehicles that everyone had to own. By the early 1950s the sale of motor scooters topped 1 million a year in France alone. Because of its popularity other countries such as France and Germany decided to get in on the boom by manufacturing their own models.

Today, after more than 50 years since the first gas scooters appeared, there are many different makes and models. We have electric, gas powered, foldable, mobility and utility motor scooters dotting the globe. There are specialized scooters for just about every task. They have become a worldwide phenomenon because they are cheap to own, economical to operate, are very handy and functional, and most of all they are a lot of fun. But with all of the makes and models which one is right for you?

Let’s start with the different types. Gas motor scooters are the fastest around. They will take you longer distances and reach higher speeds than any of the other varieties. There are smaller and lighter models that will be perfect for running errands around town while the larger and heavier touring models will take you on longer trips. Plus, the larger the gas tank the farther you can travel before needing to stop at a service station.

Electric varieties are a little more economical to run, but will usually travel only about 10 or 15 miles before needing a recharge. Their battery capacity has improved dramatically over the years, but they cannot be taken for long trips due to the fact that their batteries will need recharging periodically. However, for short trips around the city they are wonderful little vehicles. Plus, most scooters have a large storage capacity under the seat so they are ideal for trips to the grocery store or for other light shopping sprees.

The elderly or handicapped typically use what is referred to as mobility scooters. These are usually electric models and have 3 or 4 wheels for extra stability. These models give the elderly or disabled the ability to get about in their homes or around the neighborhood more easily. Without mobility scooters many of the disability-impaired would be confined to their beds.

Another very popular type is the foldable scooter. These are very small and are made for short trips around town. They are particularly popular among the younger crowds. The beauty of these models is that they are extremely compact and can be folded for storage in small places. If you work just a few miles from your home you can travel to work on your folding scooter and then fold it up and put it underneath your desk at work. Very handy.

There are also utility scooters which can be used for many different purposes. They can be used as golf carts or for hauling things. Many big businesses use these types for getting around their factories. Schools use them for driving through the parking lot, checking for cars that shouldn’t be there. Major league sports stadiums use them to drive people from one place to another. These are wonderful vehicles that can be used for a variety of reasons.

Once you’ve decided which type is right for your needs the next step is to figure out what options, if any, you would like included on your vehicle. Of course you can choose from many different colors and designs, but there are other options available to you. You can choose from the many varieties of covers, locks (for security), cases or side bags for storage, helmets, seats, handgrips, windshields or windscreens, backrests for touring, chrome kits, rear luggage racks and many more options. The list of accessories can go on for quite some time.

As a rule of thumb first choose the type of scooter you want, whether it be electric, gas, foldable or utility. This is the easy part because the type you purchase will depend upon your needs. Once that decision has been made look at several popular models in your area and decide which one looks and feels right to you. Most have accessories that are manufactured for a specific model so accessories cannot be decided upon until you know which motor scooter you are going to buy. Once you’ve decided which accessories you want for the model you chose it’s a simple matter of driving your scooter out of the dealership. And it’s nothing but fun from there on out.

You cannot choose a helmet based on its size or the material it’s made from alone. There are many things that need to be considered when purchasing motorcycle helmets. Sure, it’s probably possible to locate a helmet that is the right color or that is made from the type of material that will satisfy your safety concerns, but when it comes to “proper fit” it opens up a whole new can of worms. It is so important to consider the “safety factor.” Some motorcycle helmets are just not as safe as others and you should be aware of this.

Some of the more popular motorcycle helmet manufacturers are Icon, Arai, Shoei, Suomy, Erex, Bell, HJC and Nolan. The majority of their helmets are approved by DOT or Snell. There are many other makers, but these are some of the better known companies.

When it comes to safety there are two major concerns. One, how is your visibility? How is your peripheral vision? Can you see enough of the surrounding area to be safe? If your visibility is poor your chances of being in an accident can increase dramatically. And two, if you are involved in an accident will your head be protected as well as you’d like? Will the material that the helmet is made from stand up to the test, to the punishment?

Many motorcyclists or bikers look solely at the aesthetic qualities of a helmet and disregard safety when looking to purchase a helmet. But in reality it should be viewed oppositely. Safety should always come first.

The main options you have when searching for the perfect motorcycle helmet are color, shape, visibility and liners. Color is the easiest decision to make, right? Wrong. As far as the safety factor goes you should be able to be seen well by other drivers. Bright colors stand out and are very noticeable, even at night, while dull dark colors are not seen easily. It’s very important to choose a bright color that can be seen easily by other drivers, even at night.

Another factor to consider is the shape of the helmet. Some people have tall slim oblong heads (egg shaped) while others have round or oval-shaped heads. Trying on helmets for a good fit is the only sure way to tell if it will fit your head properly and comfortably. Plus, you want the weight of the helmet to be distributed properly so that the head can support the helmet easily.

As far as safety is concerned the number one thing to consider is your peripheral vision. Some helmets simply do not allow a biker to see to their periphery well enough to be safe. With good visibility it’s a lot easier to see when an accident might happen and have time to react to the circumstances and maneuver out of harms way.

Liners are the last item on the agenda. The purpose of a liner is for comfort, but it also is there to help you with a correct fit. If the liner is not a good fit for your head you will notice specific spots on your head that are receiving more pressure than others. Avoid these liners. Possibly the most comfortable liner is the skull cap. You will usually have less pressure in specific areas when using this type of liner.

Last, but not least, it is not wise to buy motorcycle helmets online unless you have tried that specific helmet on previously in a retail store. In most cases you will be better off trying one on in a store first. Then, once you know the brand, size, color and type of liner that you prefer it’s an easy job to browse online for the best deals.

The biggest mistake most consumers make is locating a flashy cool-looking helmet online and then buy it solely because of its looks and for no other reason. Spend a little time shopping and you will likely end up with a product that you can be happy with for many years to come.

Buying your first or tenth Ford truck will always create

feelings of pride and satisfaction. And of course, you will

want to protect your investment the best way you know how,

but somehow many people never realize that the simple act

of buying Ford truck seat covers can protect and extend the

life of your truck. Consider the following benefits of

buying Ford truck seat covers.

Protect your Seats

If you drive a truck then you are probably around dirt and

mud and other stain causing agents on a regular basis. The

easiest way to keep stains from ruining your seats is to

cover them with Ford truck seat covers that are waterproof.

This way, not only will you protect your seats from regular

stains, but also from spills of colas, water, chemicals,

and the like.

Increase value, or Resale value

Everyone wants to protect their investment, and amazingly a

small investment in Ford truck seat covers will pay off in

the long run by protecting your main investment, your

truck. This is the case because your actual seats and

fabrics will be protected by the seat cover and when the

day comes that you want to sale your truck or trade it in,

you will be able to get a better price or trade in value

because your seats and fabrics will be in impeccable

condition, like when you first bought the truck. This

benefit alone is worth getting Ford truck seat covers, but

there are several more reasons why as well.

Give your truck a custom look

When you have seat covers made for your truck or either buy

them pre-made you get the same resulta custom look for

your truck. When you put seat covers in your Ford Truck you

will be setting yourself apart from all the other Ford

truck owners, be protecting your investment, and look a lot

better as well.

Keep Your Truck Clean

When buying Ford truck seat covers you should definitely

consider getting the custom made with some great

fashionable fabrics that are waterproof yet feel like

normal soft fabric. You can buy these custom made or even

pre-made as well. They are perfect because they generally

resist stains, protect your actual seats, and can easily be

machine washed as often as you like. This way, your truck

will always be clean and you wont have to worry about

staining your clothes either.

What is a skid loader?

A skid loader is a stiff frame machine with mechanical arms that can be fitted with attachments for a wide variety of different tools, including a backhoe, hydraulic breaker, pallet forks, angle broom, sweeper, auger, mower, snow blower, stump grinder, tree spade, trencher, and a wheel saw.

Modern skid loaders come in two varieties, a four wheeled system and a rubber track version. Wheeled skid loaders are typically are four-wheel drive and for additional maneuverability, the left and right wheels systems are independent. The track version also referred to as a track loader provides for better digging and pushes performance in higher end models due to less ground disturbance and better traction in un-ideal environments like mud and sand.

History of the skid loader machine

The first three-wheeled front-end loader was invented in 1957 by two brothers, Cyril and Louis Keller, in a small machinist shop in Rothsay Minnesota. The brothers conceived the idea to help a nearby farmer with the ignoble task of cleaning up manure for a pole barn. They wanted to help him, and out of this collaboration the first skidder was born.

This early machine was eventually purchased by Melrose Manufacturing Company and the Kellers brought on to continue development. Since then it has spread to become a highly valued piece of heavy machinery at construction and engineering site around the globe.

What are these machines used for?

Due to the wide array of attachments available for these vehicles , they have many uses, but mostly are employed for scrape material from one place to another, carry materials in a bucket and proceed to load them into a truck or trailer.

Skid loaders can also be used in tight digging situations where factors limit the practically of using a large excavator, like digging a basement under an existing house. In this situation a skid loader would make use of a ramp at the edge of the site. The loader would proceed to use the ramp to carry materials out of the hole. The skid loader would reshape the ramp by making it steeper and longer as the excavation deepened.

Differences between a front loader machine and a skid loader machine

The pivot arms on a skid loader lay behind the driver, alongside the side of the vehicle.

Major machine manufacturers

Major manufacturers for skid loaders include the Bobcat Company, Mustang, Case, New Holland, Komatsu, and Caterpillar
